Portico Family,
As COVID cases begin to increase again with the Omicron variant, we wanted to bring an update to you all regarding Portico safety protocols for Sunday morning worship. Below is a reminder of our current policies:
Those who are fully vaccinated may attend services without a mask. Even so, all are welcome to utilize a mask for added protection.
If you are not fully vaccinated, it is recommended that you use a mask while indoors.
Children in service are not required to wear a mask.
Volunteers and children participating in Portico Kids (ages 4 and up) are required to wear a mask.
Children participating in Portico Kids (ages 2 to 3) are strongly recommended but not required to wear masks.
Regardless of your vaccination status, if you are experiencing COVID symptoms, please don’t attend services and consult your healthcare professional.
In addition, there are some other aspects put in place in our services to allow for added protection. We continue to have two Sunday morning services to allow people to have space in the sanctuary as they worship. We also continue to broadcast a livestream of our worship services, so all are able to participate even if they need to be at home.
We have masks available for adults and children who want them, and we have sealed communion pods for those who would prefer this option.
As we continue to navigate through this season, let’s remember to care for each other as the family God has made us to be. Be considerate of others' feelings even if they may differ from your own. And lastly, as many people are contracting COVID, reach out if you need help and be ready to serve those around you who are in need.
Thank you for your patience, as well as your commitment to one another and to Christ.
