Summer Session: Learning to Love | 07.31.18 - 08.29.18

Join us for Summer Session: Learning to Love, as we take a break from the normal rhythm of community groups and discipleship groups, for a time of men teaching men and women teaching women.

We will enjoy teaching from a variety of Portico's leaders that will encourage us to love God and love our neighbor. This practical time of teaching will help us understand what LOVE actually is, and how we live it out by going through 5 different topics:

  1. Our culture's view of love vs. God's view of love.
  2. Love and work.
  3. Love and men/women.
  4. Love and friendship.
  5. Resting in love.

MEN will meet on Tuesday nights from Jul 31 - Aug 28 from 7:00-9:00 pm.

WOMEN will meet on Wednesday nights from Aug 1 - Aug 29 from 7:00-9:00 pm.

We will gather at the Portico Church Office in Clarendon (3240 Wilson Blvd. #200 Arlington, 22201).

Food and childcare will not be provided.

Please REGISTER HERE and invite any neighbors, friends, or coworkers who might be interested in the topic to join us!

Foundations [Brunch Edition] | 09.29.18

FOUNDATIONS is an introduction to the community, theology, and values of Portico Church Arlington. It’s a snapshot of what it means to be a member on mission with us. If you are new, FOUNDATIONS is a great place to connect with others.

How it works… FOUNDATIONS will take place on Saturday September 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During our time together the Pastors and leaders of Portico will teach on:

  • belonging to God: theology, beliefs and overview of the Gospel
  • belonging to each other: membership, community, service, and gifts
  • belonging on mission: local and global outreach

There will also be plenty of time for discussion.

In the middle of our time together, we will break and enjoy BRUNCH! Food will be provided, and as we share a meal together we will also have time to get to know you and share more about the community and history of Portico Church Arlington.

We will meet at the Portico Church Office in Clarendon (3240 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 200, Arlington, VA, 22201)

Please SIGN UP HERE. Space is limited so register soon!

Please contact Pastor Nate Wagner with any additional questions.

We will also spend time in worship, as we remember the grace of God in our lives in that he provides for and sustains us, and calls us into His magnificent work of building the church and transforming lives by the power of the Gospel.

All are welcome! Let us know you will be attending by registering HERE.
